📜 Delegation Criteria

JagPool is committed to decentralizing the Solana network by supporting high-performance, mission-aligned validators — with a strong focus on LATAM infrastructure.

This page outlines our validator inclusion and exclusion criteria, along with performance, branding, and contribution requirements.

✅ Inclusion Criteria

A validator becomes eligible for JagPool delegation if all of the following are met:

🌍 Geolocation

  • Operated from a country in Latin America (LATAM)
  • Must have been operating for at least the last 10 epochs in LATAM
  • We take snapshots every epoch to verify location consistency

📈 Performance

  • Active Time: At least 20 active epochs
  • Downtime: under 10 hours in the past 30 days
  • Stake cap: 1,000,000 SOL
  • Inflation commission: maximum 5%
  • Jito MEV commission: maximum 10%
(Not running Jito is considered 100% commission)

🧩 Brand Presence

  • Must have an active Twitter (X) account and/or a Website
  • The domain name must match or represent the validator's branding

🤝 Ecosystem Contributions

To prevent Sybil attacks and encourage meaningful participation:

  • Must be an SFDP operator or bring at least 40,000 SOL in external stake
  • Contributions to education, tooling, onboarding, or ecosystem events are highly valued

❌ Exclusion Criteria

A validator may be removed for breaking any of the Inclusion Criteria.
They may reapply once they meet the criteria again.

A validator may be blacklisted for a period of 3–6 months for any of the following:

  • Commission Rugging (abrupt, exploitative fee increases)
  • Engaging in malicious behavior (e.g. sandwiching, tip stealing)
  • Toxic or harmful conduct within the community
