🔁 Rebalancing Strategy

To promote stability and avoid excessive churn, rebalancing in JagPool occurs every 3 epochs.

We aim to maintain an optimal stake distribution by reinforcing performance-based delegation while protecting decentralization and fairness.

• Rebalancing is limited to 5% of the total pool per epoch
• In special cases, this limit may be exceeded if needed to maintain balance between validator performance and overall APY

📉 Unstaking Priorities

When rebalancing occurs, stake is reduced in the following order:

1. Validators that have become ineligible
   (e.g. stopped running Jito, excessive downtime, or no longer operating from LATAM)
2. Validators that no longer meet performance thresholds
   (e.g. high skip rate, low APY)
3. Validators that are overstaked relative to their current stake target, starting with those ranked lower

Validators with a 10-epoch median skip rate above 5% may be penalized
