๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ Snapshot Service

JagPool offers a free snapshot service to facilitate and accelerate validator synchronization across all regions where we operate: Latin America (LATAM), Singapore, and South Africa.

๐ŸŒ Regional Partnersโ€‹

We collaborate with trusted partners in each supported region to provide up-to-date, high-quality snapshots.
These partners ensure that new validators, or those recovering from downtime, can sync quickly, safely, and locally.

By hosting regional snapshots, JagPool helps reduce sync times, improve decentralization, and strengthen network resilience.

๐Ÿš€ Benefits of the Snapshot Serviceโ€‹

  • Faster sync times for new and recovering validators
  • Reduced bandwidth usage and lower infrastructure strain
  • Higher resilience through multiple geographic availability zones
  • Support for decentralization, by encouraging regional validator growth

๐Ÿ”— How to Accessโ€‹

To securely use our snapshots, we recommend specifying trusted snapshot providers using the --known-validator argument when starting your validator.
This ensures your node only downloads genesis and snapshot data from reputable operators, minimizing risk of corrupted or malicious data.

For best performance, choose the snapshot server closest to your validatorโ€™s location.

๐Ÿ“š For reference, see the official Anza documentation:
Known Validators Guide

๐ŸŒ Live Snapshot Directoryโ€‹

You can now explore and use our latest regional snapshots directly through our website:
JagPool Snapshot Page

There youโ€™ll find:

  • Real-time list of available regional snapshots
  • Validator addresses of each snapshot provider
  • Full and incremental snapshot link for direct download

This page replaces the manual list previously displayed here, ensuring that information stays accurate and automatically updated.
